Ts. Harald Chia Khin Chow, CMILT
Executive Chairman

Ts. Harald Chia is the Honorary Founder and Group Executive Chairman of Rand International Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (Investment Holdings Company of Rand Group Malaysia), where he has led the Group's growth and diversification across seven core sectors: technology, manufacturing, real estate, education, digital commerce, tourism, and investments.

In 1994, he founded Rand Asia Sdn. Bhd., transforming it into one of Malaysia's leading distributors of computerized embroidery machines and software. Today, the company commands approximately 68% of the Malaysian market and holds more than 12 exclusive distributorships, representing internationally recognised brands including HappyJapan, Toyota, GMI, and Brother. Under his leadership, Rand Asia became the first Malaysian company to receive top honours at major international industry competitions in Europe and the United States, an achievement recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records.

He also served as Honorary Advisor to Melawing (KL) Group of Companies, an established Malaysian property developer with more than 40 years of industry experience and a cumulative development portfolio exceeding RM1.14 billion in Gross Development Value (GDV).

Ts. Harald Chia is a Professional Technologist (Ts.) registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and a Chartered Member (CMILT) of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Malaysia. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universiti Malaysia Pahang.
